My Mood: | | | Re: Garden I forgot about this thread, Hope and I spent all last Saturday planting and cleaning up our flower garden. The last two summers we were always at the mountain house so we kinda let the garden here go to hell. The neighbors were very happy we worked on it. Tonight I will take some pictures and put them in here. |

what i want to do other then that is do all the edging around the inside of the garden toward the grass to define all that and clean it up. i also want to redo the edging on the driveway side with something, maybe bricks, and redo some of the flowers and put new mulch down. |

My Mood: | | | Re: Garden Azaleas don't mind being pruned somewhat to reshape them, but don't butcher them too much. Do the pruning shortly after blooming, as next year's blooms form on this summer's growth. Some mulch is good too if they are in a dry area. They hate wet feet though. From your photo I'd say some shaping is all they really need. Very pretty colors. |

My Mood: | | | Re: Garden sucky, thanks for asking. But then again I guess some time and attention would have helped it out some. I really just dropped the ball and figured I'd rely on roadside stands.

My Mood: | | | Re: Garden WOW Max, you really kept up on your garden. Thanks for the update.
When I went on vacation everything dried up. I'm with Wendy on helping out our local produce stands and buy from them. Oh, I did plant some Cilantro (Spanish herb), and it is growing beautifully. I have already used some in my chicken stew I made, yum-yum. |

yea, this little garden keeps me busy but the reward is saving some money at the grocery store. Now if we can just get started splitting this 10 cords of wood I got out back winter can come | | The Following User Says Thank You to max1 For This Useful Post: | |

My Mood: | | | Re: Garden Peas are done, lettuce is done for now. Green beans need to be replanted soon. Squash and cukes are feeding the neighborhood. Lots of grape toms, almost have big ones. Cilantro, basils, oregano, catnip, sage etc. doing well. Several kinds of peppers are good too.
