Autumn Pictures and wind mills

This past weekend we went up to the mountains to see the foliage. What a beautiful weekend it was. About a mile from the house is Locust Ridge Wind Farm. I had put a thread in here about a year ago when the windmills started going up. What a sight they are. You can not get close to them legally but you know me, so we broke every law we could. We had to park about half a mile away and walk up the mountain. It was well worth it as you will see. Take note on one, if you look very closely at the bottom of the pole you can see Hope standing there and she looks like an ant.

Wonderful pictures Naomi! Maybe someday, when youve run out of things to photgraph up here, you could go to NC and shoot some things there. Like the Blue Ridge, or the mile high swinging bridge or the zoo animals on Grandfather Mountain, Stone Mountain, the Parkway, viaduct, lots of beautiful scnery, youd be in photographers heaven!

I think the next book I do will be the covered bridges of PA
from what I understand there are over 100. That should be interesting
