The boats in the marina at Pot Nets were floating above their docks this morning. The tide had gone down but you could see wood on the road that had floated in on high tide. I haven't seen wind this bad for a long time.

I just got a phone call from my niece, who has been borrowing a car from me for the last 2 months; evidently she was visiting her boyfriend in Kitts Hummock yesterday and guess what......my car is under water.

Just got done with the insurance company and have been told as soon as they are able to get in there they will have it towed and looked over.

I'm not that concerned with the vehicle, I inherited it from a former boarder who decided not to pay his rent. The only thing I've put into it is about $100 to get it tagged for my niece. She's just out of a car now.

From what I'v been told the Rehoboth Bay side of Long Neck has a lot of water damage . A coworker lost 2 cars and his heater

Well, I didn't get my electric back on until 12:30 am...Boy was that a looooong day and night.
This storm was worse that any hurricane we ever had in my area.
