should have never made the aspen, and re-fitted the plant earlier for a car or smaller truck.....lots of people were scratching their heads when they kept building bigger, thirstier trucks...

Wow. I knew this was coming, but it still sucks. Both my ex and his wife work at this plant and I don't think they're prepared to have no income. That would scare the hell out of me. I still remember how much we went through for him to even get hired by the plant 10 years ago. These are scary times for a lot of people. Makes me extremely thankful for what my family has!

We have friends that work there, really bites the big one.

My dad retired from there years ago...

My company supplies a Few Chrysler Plants and the After market glass for a ton of different cars.

My boss asked me if I'd be willing to move today.

Heard on the news today that the Chrysler closing would effect 1,000 jobs at the plant. They never seem to mention the secondary lay offs or closings that will follow.

Don't know what your family situation is, or if you could move if asked, but best of luck to you.

MihatMuhcane is on a distinguished road
Retired last year, a lot of friends still work there, this will have an effect on local business in and around Newark. Merry Christmas.
