Nebraska law allows abandonment of teens

People do abandon older kids, just in different ways. Leaving them with a friend, family member or babysitter and just never coming back (this happened to a kid I work with, and he's all kinds of messed up about it), getting them into state run facilities and then disappearing or ceasing all contact (my mom works with a few kids that are in this situation now). It's real messed up.

I don't get it...Don't get me wrong, there are times that my kids get on my last nerve, but I would join a deranged Republican rodeo clown circus before I would voluntarily abandon my kids.

Are you kidding me? Kids are going to start trying to pay their parents to drop them off. "Please mom, you can keep my allowance. I'll clean my room for a week, just LET ME BE FREE!"

Hopefully this isnt considered trolling.

When my kids were bad and I told them they are about to get a spanking they would say they were calling the authorities I would hand them the phone and tell em you think you got it bad here wait till you see where they stick ya

Needless to say I havent had to spank my kids in over 6 years

Not a good idea. They'll be back when they find out nothing is free and they have no room to clean.
