As a means of saving time during the in-depth animation process of Disney movies, some scenes are reused from past movies, with the character's faces and bodies changed. Someone has taken the time to compile some of them in a short video, and it's pretty neat.

Wow, that is just cool!! I wonder if the reason or one of the reasons Disney movies are so big is because of the familiarity?? I would never have known!

I never thought about it, but you could be on to something.

Subconciously, we're watching a "new" movie, but the repeated scences trigger something between our eyes and brain and we get a reassuring sense of familiarity.

You've all probably heard about all the supposed subliminals in Disney films, I think some of them are really interesting - the clouds in the Lion King that spell "sex", the phallus on the cover of the Little Mermaid, the naked woman in the window in The Rescuers.

There are also lots of "easter eggs" in Disney movies - where characters from other films will be seen in a crowd of people, in graffiti, etc.
