I usually go to South Bethany. We drive on on Sundays. We get family and friends together and make a day out of it. We usually get on around 10 and don't leave till about 4-5. We bring a grill and some burgers and dogs and some salads and lots of beer!! Great fun and less people, plus you don't have to carry all your toys, chairs and umbrellas a million miles.

A beach? What's that? Give me a tube and a river any day!

I'm an OC MD person myself. I like that you can stay near the top if you don't want the crowds or head down towards the end and the pier if that is more your style.

Plus they have Seacrets... what more can you ask for... a tube to float in and a waitress in a bikini walking out to you to server you drinks all day long! lol

For Delaware....I prefer Lewes now. Fun for the kids, kayaking, fishing, the sandbars, etc.

Elsewhere... I loved Baby Beach in Aruba.

Give me a beach in North Carolina any day!!!!!

Cape Henlopen State Park Parking right at the beach . You don't have to find a meter and carry stuff for blocks ,There is food ,showers and restrooms right there.

omg I grew up doing that! My Grandparents live down the river from us bout 8-10 miles. I'd be on a tube from our house to thiers almost everyday in the summer, lol. As I got older after I moved to NC, me and friends used to tube all day too. We'd tie all our tubes together and one for the cooler, and just float and drink, lol. Didnt even need bathrooms, didnt even need to move, lol.

I like Wildwood's boardwalk. If I want to go on the beach then I have to go somewhere tropic. I like the white sand and being able to see my feet when i'm 5 feet in.
