Ok, so I'm listening to the radio in the car, and I hear that Dart has buses that go to the beach? Has anyone ridden a Dart bus to the beach and what was your experience like? What beaches did you stop at and how often do the buses come around to take you back to Wilmington? Thanks to all those that respond!

I have heard this commercial as well, and have also wondered about the specifics as well. Patiently waiting for some info.

Yeah.... It leaves from the Rodney Square, Train station in Wilmington, then on to the Christiana mall DART stop... Then a direct non stop run to the Rehoboth Beach DART hub... I used to drive it.... Great time, but after the Rodney square stop, which is the first stop to get on, the bus is usually packed.... Get a day pass and you can ride all of the buses in Rehoboth all the way to Ocean City MD for the day pass price, well worth it IMHO

Here's a solution to all the controversy over full-body scanners, searches, pat downs, etc. Have an appropriate booth that you can step into that will not X-ray you, but WILL detonate any explosive device you may have on you.

They get their wish and we get ours!

You can also take the Dart buses to the Nascar races in Dover.....I do it every year..but I like knowing about the beach bus
