It's sad to say, but I never really paid much attention to Heath Ledger until I went to see "The Dark Knight". I hope it was because he did such a good job in it and not because of all the hype because he passed away.

That being said, while I was cruising the On Demand selection tonight, I came across a gem called "Candy". It's about an art student and a junkie that fall in love with each other and heroin and it is REALLY good. Heath Legder was really good in this movie. Anyway, If you get a chance to check it out, it's on Showtime on demand until September 2nd I believe. Here's a clip and the IMDB link...enjoy!

I saw this movie a while back.... I thought the acting was superb and really felt for the characters as their lives went through ups and downs.....

You're right, this is a good one.

My husband and I saw it last year and really enjoyed it. It can be gritty and kind of difficult to watch, but I imagine that's a realistic portrayal of a junkie relationship.

DCG, I couldn't find it on On Demand, I only have HBO, Starz, Encore on demand. I guess I will have to go out and rent it. Too many good reviews to let this movie pass.
