Freakin' out.

So I have this "friend". Actually, a "friend" of a "friend"...

Okay, eff it. It's me.

I've been having a lot of mood swing issues, and through talking with some people I know, I've started looking into different treatments to level out my moods a little bit. It feels as though I go from one extreme to the other and the smallest things are beginning to set me off. Just thought I'd throw this out there and see if anyone has any input or personal experience on taking mood elevators, or using other forms of treatment for mood disorders.

Re: Freakin' out.

I would recommend seeing a specialist, see if your problem is chemically based, and if so, what would the best course be for you.

Important question: does your insurance cover it?

Re: Freakin' out.

Have you ever tried St. John's Wart? I took it for a while after my first son was born and it really helped me. It will take about a week or two to kick in.

Haven't tried anything yet...the problem is a little new to me and I haven't decided on a course of action yet... what did the St. John's Wort help you with?
