The maggots.... well, only if there's really no other way to get rid of the dead tissue. | | The Following User Says Thank You to Panama Girl For This Useful Post: | |

My Mood: | | | Re: Fish pedicures I love pedicures.. they are so relaxing. I have gotten so used to it, my feet really aren't that ticklish any more...
But...
tiny little fish nibbling at my toes might put me into fits of giggles.
depending on the price and assuming my feet come out as nice & pretty as with a normal pedi... sure i'd try it
hmmm...time would be a factor too... I hope those fishys eat fast on a day when I need a pedi in 20 mins or less!!!!

My Mood: | | | Re: Fish pedicures Fish have a strain of Mycobacterium called "fish tuberculosis" (it's not really tuberculosis) that is transmissible to humans. If the fish have it, and you have even the smallest paper cut that is open and you submerge that wound in the water with the fish - you've got it. And it can be REALLY REALLY nasty.
So, no thanks. I'll pass.
