| Re: Experts: Chocolate Milk Is A Good Sports Drink Been doing this for over a year now, so I guess I'm ahead of the curve. After lifting weights, your muscles need sugar and they need it quick (as in, Nestle Quik). Once you get into the routine, the entire time I'm working out I cannot keep my mind off of the chocolate milk. It's crazy. Otherwise, I never drink the stuff.
On off-gym nights I usually do 12 oz. curls, multiple times.
