Re: Doctors you can or can not trust?

1) bad medical professionals need to be exposed. think about it.....they are in a position to cause a great deal of damage.

2) one sign it MIGHT not be a good idea to trust a medical professional is if they will not listen. i have personaly encountered this problem many times.

I know what you mean about doctors who won't listen. I've moved around a lot and have had to introduce myself to a few doctors... I only make one visit to the ones who won't listen until I find someone who will. It's sometimes expensive but definitely worth it to me.

I think it is a great idea! I am from a family of doctors and used to work in the medical field. I have known doctors who have been directly responsible for the death of a patient. Also, hospitals still cover up these mistakes over and over. Let someone sue me, but if I can save a life, I don't care. I personally almost died from being over medicated. My doc added a second prescription for the same ailment (which I found out I never really had) at an unusually high dose. I could not move my legs, kept falling over-initial diagnosis was possible stroke. I could not even crawl to a telephone to call 911 as I kept blacking out-thank God my husband was home to get me to the hospital. It took hours to find out what was wrong with me and the ER doc couldn't understand why I was even put on the meds, as my previous blood tests for this were just borderline abnormal. Anyway, I explained to my doc why I was leaving his practice and tell eveyone I know not to go to him. This was not the only incident that made me wonder about him. I am not being objective, just telling the truth!!

I look forward to the posts!
Thanks!
I'm glad you brought this up. We now live in NC, but may someday will retire in DE. This is a very important subject. Not only should we know about good doctors, but also people's experiences in hospitals. We need to be informed and then we can make our own decisions.

Thanks, this is the kind of info we need.

Dr Groll in Lewes, DE. He's very good, and he's specializes in allergies too. But he can treat anything.

I'd suggest that you find the time. On the other hand, you could just wait for a lawsuit. In the meantime, I'd stop this thread until you come up with something substantial, which you "could" find.

What you won't find is a legitimate lawyer who would permit a client to allow this kind of thread. You can get away with it, up to a point. The long term risk, however, is simply not worth it.

If you have a bad experience in a physician's office AND you have told facility management about it AND you can relate it with VERIFIABLE facts, go for it, as long as you state only the facts.

The first time someone who loves to condemn people who are "politically correct" labels a physician as "incompetent," or levels an accusation of culpable negligence, all bets are off.

What makes this even worse is the sad fact that some those very same timid individuals who could never muster up enough testosterone-driven gumption to tell the "doctor" about their complaint, will level all sorts of venom on this forum.

Also, keep in mind that, if someone sues Talk Delaware, you're going to have to pay to defend yourself, even if only through the discovery stage.

Is it worth it?

Regards

My family Doc is John Donnelly at chrtistiana care and my son's ped. is Dr. Allen Friedland Both are in the same building, but differents areas, and both are AMAZING!!! Dr. Friedland is also my husbands doc. and we love him!

Re: Doctors you can or can not trust?

Why limit this bashing to just Doctors? Why not Teachers and Administrators? Or better yet, Lawyers/Attorney's?
