Do you get or are you planning to get a Flu Shot this year?

Do you normally get one every year?

Nah i never do. One year i got one. Then i ended up with the flu. I'd rather just catch it then give it to myself..

I have had one every year for the past five years and never had a problem. They give them away free at my job.

My husband had never had one and he also never gets a cold. So it probably is just water they are injecting into my arm.

Oh hell yeah.

Winter 1993. Got my first and last flu shot. 2 days later I had full-on flu. I thought I was gonna friggin' DIE. Deathly ill for a week. Couldn't go to class, couldn't go to work, couldn't even enjoy a beer. Just laid around in pain for a week.

Nobody in my family's getting a flu shot. Especially not my 6 month old. She's not in daycare, so she's not exposed to a lot of other kids...though my 8 year old is, I guess. Doesn't matter. Not happening.

The flu shot is not for every strain of the virus, just the one that is most common.

My daughter doesn't go to daycare but she does go out in public so she will also get a flu shot.

Vaccines only work if everyone gets one.

My husband gets it free at his company.
I've never gotten one...my DS is at home but I'm still not convinced to get him one. However, I'm heading to my doctor appointment later...I'll see what she says then.

I agree.. Ill let my body fight it off.. builds character.. :-D

plus... you never know what they put in that crap.. what if the vile that they
give me was accidentally mixed with Avian flu.. :-p..
i know, highly unlikely.. but thats the conspiracy nut in me.. :-D
