Hmmm..very interesting. I don't mind needles. Trust me, when you get prego, all they do is stick ya any chance they get. ha! ha!
However, the thing that does bother me with needles is not so much when they go in....it's when they are getting pulled back out.

But seriously, has anyone, when giving blood, had the nurse not be able to hit the vein and they keep sticking and sticking and then switch arms and try some more and more?

When I was 10, we trapped a raccoon. Messing with it, I got bit and it got away.

I had to have the rabies series done...which was a lot more involved than it is today.

I had to have a needle shot into my stomach everyday for 31 days in a row. And the injection was acidic or something. It burned going in. It turned my whole torso beet red and got redder and sorer everyday. By day 10, I tried to run away from my parents so I didn't have to go, it hurt so bad...and there were still 21 more days to go.

After that shit, I don't give a damn where you stick me. Just get it over with.

that doesn't bother me so much either.

I hate when you go get novicane at the dentist and they have to shoot the needle up into your gums and around your teeth. There is like no meat, muscle or tissue at all. But they slide that thing under your gums anyway and you can feel how far back and along your gums the go too.

I'm just being a little wuse.. It's cool..

That's ONE of the reasons I hate needles.. I had a bad experience with a bad nurse who couldn't find the vein...... More than once too..

I am the blood banks wet dream. the veins in my arm were made
for that. (I woulda made a helluva heroin addict). I show the nurse
my vein (so to speak) and her eyes light up! which one should I choose!

The only part that bothers me is when the needle is in your vein and you
have to squeeze the foam ball every so often... for some reason that gets
me a little bit.

I never liked giving blood until that one day in high school. I had a crush on this girl that was volunteering at the blood bank. She told me if i gave some blood she would do it personally.

She was very delicate. Pressing her double Ds on the side of my head as she reached over. Then as i was going to ask her out. I got up from the chair too fast and passed out.

As i woke up she was holding me in her arms with those colossal boobs holding my head up. Right then and there i asked her to marry me. She chuckled and told me she had a boyfriend..

Memories.......of the blood bank...
