So, you ate less and exercised more and lost weight. But now the pounds are piling back on. You're hungrier than ever, and you can't seem to resist food. Once again, it's all your fault, right?
Wrong. Blame evolution, and the fact that for the vast majority of human history, famine was a bigger threat than flab. Even your seeming lack of will power is part of a complex biological system that drives humans who have lost weight to regain it, according to new brain-scan research by scientists at Columbia University Medical Center. So what about us freaks who can't gain weight?
Should there be a famine, I'm gonna be the first to go.

In one camp, you get prejudice because of your weight, in the other people suspect you of eating disorders, etc. Can't win for trying.
In any case, I hope there is no famine, as folks here would miss you. Also, you are a fellow active Bookcrosser, and we have got few enough of those here in DE as it is!! | | The Following User Says Thank You to udalg For This Useful Post: | |

Should there be a famine, I'm gonna be the first to go. | Yeah, *racks brain* I remember the topic, *brain cries and begs for mercy* but damn if I remember which thread it was... *releases poor widdle brain*
Methinks I'll have to dive into the depths of TD to find it. *takes two aspirin and dons SCUBA gear* If I'm not back in an hour and a half, send a rescue party... emphasis on party.
