Post WTS: many items (moving sale)

I realize that I'm relatively new here on TalkDelaware, but I'd like to take advantage of this B/S/T thread to see if I can reach out to more people and give them the opportunity to maybe buy some items they want/need....

I'm selling my house (w/ basement and attic storage) and moving into a smaller house. Due to space limitations, a lot of things will not be coming along w/ me. But that's good news for some of you!

I have:

ENTERTAINMENT CENTER - one of those Sauder put-it-together yourself products. Currently in use as storage shelves and TV stand. Plenty of shelf space for books, stereo equipment, DVD's and VCR's, etc. Also has a cabinet under the TV stand section for movies and additional storage. Come out and see it! $40

CHANGING TABLE - Nice wood baby changing table w/ 2 open shelves underneath for storage. Comes w/ thin "mattress" too. $40

COFFEE TABLE - wood, with small drawer and lower shelf. Used to be a TV stand. Small booboo in corner, $10

TELEPHONE STAND - Old Sauder brand (discontinued now) telephone stand w/ top "shelf" for phone, another shelf for answering machine, and a storage cabinet (w/ door) on bottom, measures about 13"W x 12"D x 27"H, from Sauder's "Forest Hills Collection" w/ "Woodland Oak" finish. Nice condition. $5

END TABLE - Wood end table. Has cabinet door storage on one end and magazine rack on other end. $10

END TABLE #2 - Wood end table w/ opening underneath and one drawer. Only one to sell (not a matching pair). Currently used as a printer stand (for a heavy HP LaserJet, so it's sturdy!). $10

TWO CHAIRS:
- first one is black metal frame, black padded seat and back, w/ arms. $5
- second is wood frame, black cushioned seat and back, no arms. $3
- Heck, if you take them both you can have the "pair" for $6!

FILING CABINET - older wooden cabinet w/ 2 drawers - needs new rails mounted (plastic ones broke), otherwise is still usable. Free to a DIY project.

MEN'S CLOTHING - I have some men's clothing that either doesn't fit me or I just don't wear anymore. Too many things to list here. Pants, shirts, T-shirts, etc....

KID'S CLOTHING - There's also a box and bag of kid's clothing. I've had this stuff since my children were younger. I'll have to double-check the sizes and update this post later....

KID'S TOYS - miscellaneous stuff

DRAFTING SUPPLIES - Mayline parallel bars 42" and 48" (were used in architecture school - still work)

MODEL SUPPLIES - some model wood, foamcore "scraps," etc.

COMPUTER STUFF - some miscellaneous games and programs ($5 each):

Calendar Creator Plus ver. 2 -- 3.5" Floppy (w/ instruction manual, in original box)
Crayons Coloring Book for windows -- 3.5" Floppy (in original box)
The Journeyman Project - Turbo! -- CD
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six - CD for Win95/98
Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Dark forces II (2 CD Set) -- CD for Win95
Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Mysteries of the Sith Companion Missions -- CD
LEGO Island 2: The Brickster's Revenge -- CD

PRINTER (ALL-IN-ONE) - I have a never-used Lexmark X125 All-in-One for sale. Comes with power cord, telephone cord, document exit tray, 2 cartridges (original), install CD, and quick reference guide and "poster." This all-in-One prints, scans, faxes, and copies. More info can be found on Lexmark's website: http://www.lexmark.com and typing "X125" in the search bar. $50

PLOTTER - Houston Instruments single-pen plotter. I used this to plot my thesis drawings at college. Also comes w/ a box of pens. Call for more info. $50 OBO

TABLET/DIGITIZER - Hitachi tablet and 16-button puck. Awesome condition. Call for more info. $50

I think that's it as far as I can remember, but more may be available soon, as I go through the house and pack....

Some items are already priced, some are not - so feel free to come take a look at them and make an offer! I'm a "motivated" seller. LOL.

If you're interested in any of these items, please call me (Dave) at (302) 482-1854 (evening) or email me at dave_in_delaware@hotmail.com

Thanks!

I need a mini fridge for work, other than that I'm maxed out in my house but thanks for the offer.

Actually, tell me about the printer....

A Recent study Found the average American walks about 900 miles a year.
Another study found, Americans drink on the average 22 gallons of beer a year.
That means the average American gets 41 miles to the gallon.

Kind of makes you proud to be an American.

What kind of condition are the dining room table and chairs in? How big? (I have a very small dining room) and how much are you asking?

Ummm...first of all, no you don't. My printer at home sucks.

Second, I need one for work. I spent all of last year begging for a printer but never got one. I was told there were no available printers so I had to do all of my printing from home.

Which one? The LaserJet 4V?? (the all-in-one has a write-up above)

It's a workhorse. The company I work for had it when I started here. We'd print 11x17 drawings on it (plus everything else that was letter size). We switched over to a color laser, so the 4V wasn't needed anymore. They were just going to toss it, but then they realized they could get a little bit for it when I saved it from destruction. LOL.

It prints 11x17, 8.5x11, and envelopes, etc. I have the 11x17 tray. And a new toner cartridge. And the manual.

I've used it since I got it from work, to print rough drawings out for my side job. It prints perfectly, although I did notice that it could probably use a good cleaning, as a little toner "powder" is getting on the pages. It's not every page, but a good cleaning should correct this.

This printer has a HUGE footprint. I have it on its own "side table" and it takes up the whole thing! So, if you have a shallow printer stand or shelf for it, this printer will crush that! LOL.

I'm asking $75 OBO for it (and all the "accessories"), only because of its ability to print 11x17 and the new toner cartridge.

The table is is good condition. It's probably at least 6' long (w/ leaf) and 3' wide (I'd have to measure it to be 100% sure though). With the leaf it'll seat 6 comfortably.

The chairs need some work. Some of the rungs are cracked or split, and they need a major hit of wood glue and/or small nails to connect all the rungs to the legs. The chairs are all still in working order though. My kids and I use them weekly for dinner. The legs, backs, cushions are fine on the chairs. It's just the rungs that need some help (thanks to my children using them as steps to get onto the chairs - grrrrrrrrrr). Not all chairs are beat up though.... maybe 4 of them need glue. The other two are fine (IIRC).

The table has a leaf in it, so you could make it smaller (down to a square) and only use 4 of the 6 chairs if you're cramped for space.

I'm asking $60 OBO for the set (1 table, leaf, and 6 chairs)
