We're in the process of combining our households and simplifying and improving our finances, so we're going to sell her car (to save her monthly payment and gas money) and carpool in my van.

She bought it for approximately $21,000 last April. She's asking $19,000, or best offer.

Just so everyone knows, there's nothing wrong w/ the car at all. She takes good care of it. She's only selling it for personal financial reasons.

I believe she said she'd get it detailed before selling it, too.

And she's a non-smoker, so the car doesn't stink. LOL.

Re: WTS: 2007 Kia Spectra SX sedan

i could be wrong...but i dont think youll be able to sell it for that...i know as soon as you take the car off the lot....youll lose thousands instantly...what i would do is search up kelley blue book...ebay...and auto trader...look at similiar vehicles and price the vehicle accordingly...especially due to the fact that the car makers are all not selling anything...if her payoff is around 19...think she might be stuck...

a ford focus with 35mpg is running around 14-15k...on the low end...its around 12k

ive been seeing ads for a dodge avenger for around 14-15k brand new(stripped) and gets 31mpg(wife has one)

good luck...just look into all the factors and dont be dissapointed if ya cant sell it for that much

It is pretty high, but lets not beat him up, if you're not making a offer stay out the topic.

Thank you,
Chase

Re: WTS: 2007 Kia Spectra SX sedan

That's why her ad says "or best offer" ....

I had looked it up on Kelly Blue Book and Edmund's. Based on the condition of the car and the low mileage, the "suggested" sale price is relatively close to her pay-off price. I also researched other Kia Spectra's being sold on the internet through those sites. Her price seems to be pretty right-on and reasonable, considering the fact that many of the other Sprectras being sold seemed to have high pricetags compared to their mileage....

But again, she did put in there "or best offer" ....

I'm not going to argue for/against her price. It's her car, and she stated the price. Anyone interested in the car can make her a reasonable offer, or make arrangements to come out and see how pristine it is....
