woot.com

Does anyone here use Woot : One Day, One Deal (SM) ?

It's a cool place to get stuff cheap but you have to act fast and check it often. They just had a Garmin Nuvi for $122.00 new in box. Their product descriptions are a riot too.

Keep your eyes out for the BOC's (Bags of Crap for $1) they have some very cool stuff in them. When they do their "woot off" days, they sell a new product every hour or so... keep hitting the refresh as the current product sells out.

There are 3 sites associated with woot...
shirt.woot.com
wine.woot.com
sellout.woot.com

For those of you not familiar...here....
Woot - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I love woot!

Whoa....just got a Stanley FatMax Xtreme AntiVibe Rip Claw Hammer (24oz smooth head) for $7.99. Muwahahahahahah

If I never use it as a hammer, I certainly can make a lot of jokes with it.

It's woot off time!

Re: woot.com

I'm a dedicated wooter. Just in this current woot-off, I bought the snowman shirt for my granddaughters (seriously cute!), two Sony noise canceling headphones, and three USB wireless network adapters. The other day I bought three 2G mini-SD cards.

I wish I'd seen that hammer!! On woot-off days I have to resist the urge to do nothing but sit at the PC and refresh-refresh-refresh.

Another woot-off favorite here are the flying screaming woot monkeys. I have several people who want them, the next time they're offered. I've never managed to score one of their bags of crap though - tried, but always miss it!

Here's the snowman shirt:

I want a Bag of Crap.... badly.
Today's woot off has had 10 computers so far.... which is weird. Maybe the next BOC will have one of them in it.

I missed out on the 8 gig flashdrive for $19.99, they sold out so fast.... I've only ever seen 2 gig flash drives for $19.99.

Go flying screaming woot monkeys!

Re: woot.com

Blast it all to bloody hell... I just tried to get the HP Pavilion that they had for an excellent price (new PC = planned purchase) but in the time it took me to call HP to verify that I could buy their extended warranty, they sold out. Now they have a stupid sand wedge. Stupid golf. I'd better score me a bag o'crap tonight, dammit.

About a month ago they had 4G flashdrives on twofer Tuesday, two for $15. I got six of them to use in one of my classes, to let students play with installing Linux on a flashdrive.

Abuela,

OMG...that's awesome about those flashdrives! I need a flashdrive badly...F5, F5, F5....

Sorry to hear about the HP...it looked like a nice machine but they've had a lot of them on today so keep at it.

I see an HD/DVD player with two HD/DVD movies now for $44.99. Don't need one...next......

That's the old technology anyway, already gone the way of the betamax...

The mini-arcade usb basketball game is cute but I'll pass.
