| | Google now has a new free toy available. Google Chrome is a full-on web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox. It is still beta and not full release, it reminds me of a light version of FireFox, very light (which to me means stripped down features wise, not light as in faster)
I am posting from it now, easy d/l and install. If you want to check it out go to.... Google Chrome - Download a new browser

| | dude, actually, this is pretty cool.....
the tabs are easily moved around, like FF can rearrange them on top, but you can actually drag a tab outside the browser window and it will up a new window from the tab, and you can then re-attach it....lol
i know ima a geek, but it is pretty cool, and it is really fast too....

more info/comments Giving Google Chrome A Spin. This Thing Moves Fast. Someone sent me an email regarding this. I'll let you guys work out all the kinks, though. Let me know when it's clean, flawless, and ready to go.
However, I have another question for you, Chase. I have used Firefox for several years. I think I'm on version 2.9.something or other. I know that version 3 is out there because I keep receiving pop-up download notices and I keep clicking "later."
A few months ago, right after the official release of version 3, I downloaded and installed it. It was a disaster.
I use AVG security suite--paid and the latest version. As soon as Firefox 3.0 finished installing, I received an error message from Firefox notifying me that it was incompatible with AVG.
I reinstalled the old version of Firefox and all has been well. I also emailed technical support at AVG about it, but I've not heard back from them.
AVG is a very popular security suite, including virus definitions. I have no intentions of giving it up.
Are you aware of this problem or that it's been fixed? I'm tempted to just download and install 3.0 and see what happens, now that they've had a few months to fix it.
Regards,

| | | Chrome also has "secret" tabs that doesn't record the browsing history or cookies.
I've already heard them referred to as Vegas tabs and Porn tabs.
