Just got home from Perkins on Kirkwood Highway. Let me break down this breakfast special I just ate.
It's called The Tremendous 12.
3 Eggs, 4 Pancakes, Sausage-Scrapple-or Bacon, Breakfast Potatoes or Hashbrowns....$5.29
Man.
I left a pancake and an egg behind. At last my gullet has found a worthy adversary. You win this round, Tremendous 12. Enjoy it while it lasts!
(The buttermilk pancakes and breakfast potatoes were among the best I've ever had.)

KL, you just discovered one of (IMO) Kirkwood Highway's ONLY saving graces. Perkins and the Tremendous Twelve.
I used to live in Admiral's Club. There was nothing better after an all-night drinking/Halo binge than Perkins.
I had a Tremendous Twelve like every week while I was pregnant.

I like the fact that they give you every kind of syrup you could EVER want. EVER.
Apricot? No problem. Blueberry? Sure. Good ole' maple? It's there.
