If you are in the mood for some good seafood and tasty deserts and comfortable yet elegant surroundings than you have to try the Riverview Inn in Pennsville, NJ. They are as I said in Pennsvillem, just over the Delaware Memorial Bridge (Take the first exit).

I was there this past summer and the food was very tasty! At that time I did not eat raw seafood so I paid it little mind. The steamed seafood table had a good supply but I grow tired of pealing my shrimp and taking out the vein so I did not spend much time at all on that section either.

I loved the Lobster New burg and the Shrimp Creole as well as the other tasty dishes they had on offer. Fried Shrimp and Fish as well as steamed crab and clams....

They also have a Chef there cutting the Roast Beef and Ham but who wants that stuff when there is SEAFOOD about!

I also LOVE the Desert table! This place knows how to tie on the feed bag!

I have been here many times with friends and family and we all enjoy the place a lot but you have to go there hungry or when you leave you will feel as if you cheated yourself...,

I think I bought some Grape Juice once from a Gas Station Convenience store in Sussex. I drank the whole thing and it made me go to the bathroom!

That is the thing... if they had this on the weekend I would be going there every month! But on a work day.. weeknight... I just can't do it. So it is a place for special occasions and rewards to friends and family.

What are you doing in my area...well used to be my area... well actually just my state. lol. Do you ever eat at home man?

I will vouche for this place i grew up down the street from it ,it was taken over about 10 yrs ago by JG cooks,b 4 that it was abandoned for quiet a few yrs and b 4 that food poision was the main dish...its great now every sunday starting in May the bar in the back is wide open to the beautiful view on the river and they have a live band ,its alot of fun and the drink prices are good i think i paid like 2.50 for bottled beer and 3.95 for a bloddy mary and it was huge and not watered down..I have had 2 baby showers there for my SIL and the catered it and the banquet room upstairs is also magnificent views..its wort the trip.

Great food, beautiful Views, i loved this place when i lived in NJ, practically paid for the bar on the outside

I used to live in that area but never ate there until a couple of years ago. I usually spend a couple of evenings in the summer slammin' em down with some friends from home. Then of course comes the drive thru Pennsville trying not to get pulled over.

I heard that they were closing the place and converting to condos, but that was awhile ago.
