Rasa Sayang Malaysian Cuisine

Have any of you triee Rasa Sayang in the Independence Mall? I went there for lunch. The decor and layout is basic but the food is good. We ordered an appitizer combo (it was a bit pricey)

I ordered yellow curry chicken and the first few bites transported me back to Thailand.

Service was great. The waitress made some recommendations that we did not order but if another table did order it, she would pass our table ans show to us the menu item she suggested.

Thanks for the review, Paul. This is the type of restaurant that I probably wouldn't try without the recommendation, but now I'll be sure to check it out. I love Malay food! There used to be an awesome little joint right near my apartment in NJ called Meema that I would hit up at least once a week, and I missed it when I moved!

We also tried Rasa Sayang. My wife is Malaysian (Sabahan) so they
weren’t going to fool us if they weren’t the real deal. But we were very
pleased to find that they were pretty authentic – and delicious !!!!
The service was great-as stated in an earlier post- and well worth our
one-hour-plus-one-way drive to get there. I think we will go back, but
it would be nice if they opened another one in or closer to Dover.
If you haven’t tried Rasa Sayang, don’t miss it !
