Re: Pizza

Hey... i used to make one damn good dominos pizza....

Anyone who knows the dough is best when it has proofed a couple of days.....

I would keep my dough till after the "expiration date" that was Dominos rule, to make my pies with.....

Now they have shitty dough, no banana peppers, and you're hard pressed to get pineapple....

So I agree Kid... the pizza sucks now... but when this movie was made... we had some damn good pizza... (I can tell by the shirt)

A Recent study Found the average American walks about 900 miles a year.
Another study found, Americans drink on the average 22 gallons of beer a year.
That means the average American gets 41 miles to the gallon.
~
Kind of makes you proud to be an American.

Re: Pizza

I used to get Domino's when I didn't have cash because they took checks.

Or when they were the only one's still open.

I've left Kahuna with who knows how many 5 dollar Domino pies they'd be selling at the exit door.

If we're hanging out drinking, and someone calls in a Domino's delivery, I'll chip in my 5 bucks and be happy to get some.

But I've never had a craving for Domino's. I've had a craving for PIZZA, and Domino's was the quick fix. But even when it was better, it was never Plan A.

Re: Pizza

I have always had a soft spot in my heart for Pizza Hut pan pizzas... They suck, but I remember my father bringing one home after work as a "treat" upon occasion and every few years, I get one just because it reminds me of him.

Re: Pizza

I enjoy Pizza Hut. I don't get it too often because their coupons suck, but the wife loves the pan pizza from there. I like it, too, but they've always been pricier than the next guy.

Re: Pizza

Kid, I'll put my money on Tony's Cafe at Possum Park Rd.& Paper Mill Rd. Great food & awesome pizza. No delivery, but it's worth the short drive. (across from Louviers/Deerfield)Best pizza I've had in the area, and I'm a townie.

Re: Pizza

I really like the pizza from Cafe Valentina (on McKennan's Church Road & LImestone Road, near Total Wine)... it's nothing fancy, but just plain good pizza - good sauce, good crust... the best way I can describe it is, "old school pizza" (before all the pizza chains came out). and they have a "2 for $15" special everyday, so it's a good deal, too!

I have to agree 100% with you BC.. My wife and I used to live in Pike Creek and became addicted to Pietro's. We now live in Newark and make the extra drive just to get their pizza... I F'n love their pizza - Especially the sausage they use..
