My Mood: | | Pat's Pizza Has anyone noticed that Pat's now sucks ass? Everything I used to like there has changed. It's not just me that noticed a couple of other people have made the comment as well. They also jacked there prices up! What the heck man!

My Mood: | | | Re: Pat's Pizza I never really liked Pat's Pizza. To me, the crust was always doughy, and the sauce was always tasteless, and sometimes the cheese had this strange, plastic-y aftertaste.

My Mood: | | | Re: Pat's Pizza I just ate some cheese fries and I think I'm going to be sick...I also got a cheese turnover and it doesn't taste good at all. They changed the sauce or something...I couldn't even eat it! |

My wife makes me go there because she loves their big salad with turkey.
I got a cheesesteak and fries the other day. It was excellent. Plus the girl working the counter was very friendly and efficient. We go to the one on Kirkwood Highway by Jack's Country Maid and the 7-Eleven. |

My Mood: | | | Re: Pat's Pizza There's much better out there than Pat's (or Season's). To get around the basic bland pizza, I opted for a 'boli on my last visit to Pat's - talk about juicy, when I cut the thing a stream of hot liquid shot over my wife's shoulder and nearly took out a toddler at the table behind us. The manager claimed that the liquid was a combination of the water that came out of the veggies and "oil" (grease) from the meats and cheeses. They all do that he said. I'm glad we didn't make it a take-out episode!
Price increases are probably a result of the "modernization" of the brand. You gotta pay those marketing people a lot of $$$$ to get an updated look and feel.
You guys in the Kirkwood Hwy area have Napoli a half mile away...I wouldn't even bother with Pat's. |

I like Pat's mega fries and the SO likes their cheesesteaks and they deliver. We have no reason to go anywhere else for steaks or subs since we like what we get from them...
I made pizzas (yes, tossed the dough and everything) for about 5 years at a mom and pop store in Hockessin, back in the 80's. I pretty much think all mass produced pizza sucks, but I buy what is convenient (which is generally Papa John's) when I get in the mood for pizza (which is rare).
If we want real italian, then we go to Napoli.
Taste is taste is taste. Again, I shrug and say, "I like it." | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
