Has anyone been to Firebirds? Comments?
I think it is over priced for average/poor food

DH and I went with friends a couple of months ago. I had not heard of the place. The food was so so and a little pricey for what you got.
I know the place was new so I thought we would try them again.

They also don't take reservations and that usually takes a restaurant out of contention for us if we have to wait for a table.

I went w/ a group of friends a couple of weeks ago. I was expecting a lot more. The food was okay, nothing to write home about. There was very little variety on the menu as well. IMO the best thing about it was that it's close to MarbleSlab.

I went with a group of friends as well. I thought it was very nice. The atmosphere was great. My food was pretty good, although not to die for because I don't even remember what I had lol

I agree, the atmosphere was cool but the food was so so and the prices were pretty high.

Well.. Maybe my wife and I won't go there for my birthday dinner..

I was told the food was outstanding, as well as the service...

Thanks for the heads up!!

I dunno Scraps, go ahead and try it...especially if you're in the mood for a steak. It seemed like that was what they had the most of. It was a nice atmosphere; you may like it.

Eh.. I can get a good look at a T-bone by sticking my head up a bull's ass, but I'd rather take the butcher's word for it...

LOL.. I was just looking forward to something new..

Agreed. Wife and I were over there a while back and saw it gave it a try. Haven't been back - It was OK, but overpriced for what we got.
