my lunch-buddy and I went a week ago for lunch. They are kinda pushy with the wine. The menu is very pricey. We both ordered a french-dip roas-beef sandwich. I didn't like mine and gave the uneaten half to my lunch-buddy.

For sime reason the place reminds me of Champs restaurant. I don't think I will be visiting either place for a very long time.

I never heard of Firebirds either and I still have no idea where it is. If you tell me something is next to an Olive Garden and a Red Lobster.... I'm gonna think 202 across from the Concord Mall.

As for Deerhead.... they used to serve them at Blue Rocks stadium but now I don't know where they are either. I thought they went out of buisness.

You'll be happy to know that I've been using my Garmin Nuvi. I actually made it out to Pike Creek last week! Yeah man !!!!

Over priced I can handle, bad service and embarrassment is different.
We went as a group and 5 of us had salty food, I mean you could not tell what you were eating.
Also the manager came to our table to tell us that my friend had to move his car out of the handicapped spot. My friend is handicapped and has a Handicapped license plate on his car. The manager told him the police called, my friend went outside to tell the police that he has a tag on the back of the car, but no police. Seemed to my group that a manager was trying to take care of a friend or something.
Wrote to Firebirds two weeks ago to complain, today they called and told me the police had called, although they couldn't give me the name of the police officer and that Firebirds had researched this problem and they were satisfied, I asked the Complaint person Gerald Polsenalle (not sure of spelling) what research was done and he replied that he had "Talked with the Manager" also he told me he had Emailed me which was untrue or he misspelled it. Then he said have a nice day and hung up. Bad service, Salty food, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Someone, who works for Firebirds, told your handicapped friend to move his handicapped tagged car which was in a designated H.C. spot?
Now once again, let me clarify for my own knowledge....
The driver of said vehicle is handicapped and the vehicle is labeled as so???




That being said,

If I was H.C. and had a marked h.c. vehicle, and the place I was frequenting told me to "Move my vehicle out of a h.c. spot, or it will be towed, and the police have already been called".... I would have said "not a problem... you tow it, you call the police, and while you're at it... bring my friends a round of drinks.....Because I am going to sue you and the towing company which tows my handicapped vehicle out of MY designated h.c. spot."

Something is fishy with this story, and I am not all that sure it's Firebirds....

Went here a couple weeks ago and I thought it was pretty good. First time I had fried spinach too - very interesting. Yeah, it was a little pricey, but I was fine with the quality of the food.

One thing, the parking is horrible, especially during peak hours. I had to park by the Best Buy which is a good, long walk away.

friends of mine from work go there on Friday nights for Happy Hour...you're right, parking is AWFUL!!!! I've had food there awhile ago, wasn't very memorable. The atmosphere is the best! The drinks are the best! They are also pretty pricey, which is why we go on Happy Hour.

What time is happy hour? Every time we go there they try to push margaritas on you before eating, I'm a scotch or small batch bourbon freak myself and did notice that the bar area seemed to have a lot of other stuff.

We both like the Pecan Crusted Trout, and their cheesecake but YMMV.
