There is a little well kept secret on Union Street in Wilmington that I eat at at least once a week for lunch. FRANKIES Sub & Steak Shop located between 4th & 5th on Union next to Borgia's steak shop. The business is operated by it's original owner, a very nice Italian lady named Helen...tell her Fran sent ya. It has the original lunch counter with the bar stools that you can spin around on and the old tyme soda machine. The phone number is 652-9660. Enjoy!

Three DDD's is very good. I've eaten there when visiting my sister in Castle Hills. Now that I am residing there I guess I'll have to start eating at three DDD's again.

I agree that Hot Spot has great subs. Everything is good there. It's on Miller Road across from Home Depot.

I gotta agree with the earlier post about G&P on Market Street in Wilmo. for the best cheesesteak. Primo's on Philly Pike with the Sharp Italian.:P Stoltzfus' used to make the Bear burger in Fox Run. Salami, pepperoni, sausage, steak, hamburger with 3 cheeses on a sub roll. Instant heart attack sandwich.
