Re: Favorite Chinese Restaurant

Kenny's in Governor Square has great sushi and other dishes.
Their prices are a little higher than most...but worth it.
Great date night spot!

Re: Favorite Chinese Restaurant

I love me some Chinese food!!!

For an all-you-can-eat buffet:

Grand East Buffet
2072 Naamans Road
Wilmington, DE 19810
(Foulk & Naamans strip mall)
Grand East Buffet. Buffet-Style,Restaurant,Oriental Foods. Wilmington, Delaware - Home

Delicious food. Nice variety. (usually) friendly staff.

China Buffet
1134 Pulaski Hwy
Bear, DE 19701
(across from governor's Square)

Good food. Nice variety. Friendly staff.

For take-out:

Evergreen Restaurant
3608 Miller Rd # 6A
Wilmington, DE 19802

(302) 764-8181‎

This is my favorite take-out place. Nice fast service. GOOD food. They also make some yummy homemade iced tea!

For eat-in:

It's not Chinese, but

Hibachi Japenese Steak house
1160 Pulaski Hwy
Bear, DE 19701
(across from governor's Square)
(302) 838-0414

Hibachi Grill is AWESOME!!! Their fried rice is kick-a$$. And it's so fun to watch them cook everyone's food right in front of you.

Re: Favorite Chinese Restaurant

There's a place my wife and I just tried for the first time and it was excellent..
It's on Kirkwood Hwy, right before Red Mill Rd.. In the same shopping center as a Subway and a Concord Pet Supply..
I'll figure out the name and post it later.. But I highly recommend it!!

Re: Favorite Chinese Restaurant

I know exactly which one you're talking about. I've been there once before. It's certainly more "quaint" and cozy than many other ones around. Very good service from what I rememberr (it's been many years).

Re: Favorite Chinese Restaurant

We actually got take-out from there, but my wife said the same thing you did.. It's more of a restaurant atmosphere.. It was really, really good though... I always get General Tso's chicken from where ever I go and their's was great..

Re: Favorite Chinese Restaurant

Hibachi fried rice is the best food ever created (besides crabs) I could probably eat it everyday, which is why when we go I get enough to take home and last for awhile....

Re: Favorite Chinese Restaurant

My fiancee says that when I make Hibachi's rice at home (stir fry leftovers) it's even better than the original. I think she's biased. LOL.
