Yes, The Bomb is EVERYTHING you could ever want on a sub roll, and some things you might have never thought of putting in there. And it is, indeed, The Bomb.
Nah, the deli's still there. It was never for sale, and as far as I know, nobody has ever thought of putting it on sale.
They also now have their own version of Season's chicken bites, and they are SO much better. I don't think it's on that menu yet. |

I lived up off W. Main Street for a couple years. The places we frequented most back then - Was the Deer Park, Eagle Diner and Daffy Deli..
You are VERY right.. Daffy Deli has good food.. |

I used to love Cleveland Ave Sub Shop..... But they have gone WAAAAAAAAY downhill over the years..
The Cleveland Creations were the shit...
The Louisiana Chicken sandwich was my favorite... |

When I started at UD in '88, Daffy Deli was pretty new. 20 years. That alone says something in downtown Newark where there are options GALORE for take out.
