I loved me some Steak and Ale....
Matter of fact... Kid Tess and the lil one came out to Steak and Ale and ate with me.....
The lobster bisque and fillet is the best!

We'll miss you Steak and Ale.... But you will not be forgotten....


Just take my advice... DO not sell to any japanese or chinese who want to open up a take out in the building.... just look across the street..... they cannot keep a fire hot long enough to burn the place down.... just make it a mess for someone else to clean up....

Bennigans used to be my high school hangout. I loved that Monte Cristo! Those pics were great! I have not been there in years but I do remember the last time I went that the service was horrible and it was empty! I guess with the way the whole economy is going, closings are not surprising.....

I really didnt care for Bennigans,come to think of it same can be said for S&A,Fridays,Lonestar,Outback,and Applebys.I think they all sucked equally.

Late-breaking news...some locations that were franchised may stay open...but they're not saying which ones they are or if they'll continue to use the trade names and copyrights...

Now I will have to eat at Applebees all the time with Chase, he would eat dinner there everyday if I let him and now he has our daughter constantly saying she wants to go there. Everytime I eat there I get sick... literally.

* lucky for me my work cafeteria makes the exact same sandwich so I can still fufill my craving whenever need be
