Maybe Fuddruckers but only if I'm starving.
I'm not surprised they are closing down. The Bennigan's in Fairfax never has cars in front of it. Never heard of Steak and Ale.

I'll always have a soft spot for that particular Bennigan's...the first day of the first Gulf War (way back in 1991), I blew off going back to work because I was getting sauced and was on the edge of my seat as that guy from CNN was reporting from inside the hotel that was being bombed...plus all of the laser sighted targeting and destruction they were showing was too cool...there were probably 20 of us that spent the afternoon there glued to the TVs and downing Guinness...

For the most part, I have a hard time keeping the chains separate in my mind. They're all basically the same, and they all get their food off the same Nobel Sysco trucks. Most of these places don't even really need kitchens - just bag openers and microwaves. | | The Following 10 Users Say Thank You to rockmama For This Useful Post: | |

'Cause I need to give 'em a high five.
Seriously though. I'm with hockey. I hate chain restaurants. They all look alike, taste alike, sound alike, and are waaaaaaaaaaaaay overpriced for the quality of food that you get. I never could figure out what, exactly, you were paying for that made the food so expensive. I mean, for what it is, it's just glorified Dennys. All of 'em.
I'd rather order a pizza.
