No, not shallow at all (at least to me, anyway). I feel the same way...I like to look presentable for myself and for others, it's just nice to feel positive attention for looking (and feeling) your best. I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

I couldn't do it....I changed into a nice pair of shorts and a shirt before I picked up my daughter anyway
