Now I'm not talking my black patent leather stiletto's.. but I am talking about boots with 3 and 4" heels and sandles with the same. For me slipping on my Tommy sandles with jeans and a tank is normal... I wear my flip flops too but no where near as often. I will actually take my daughter to the park and put my sneakers in the car and change into them at the park and put my sandels back on when I get in the car. To me they are comfortable. | Amen, sister! Ha Ha but I just feel most comfortable when I'm jacked up a few inches in cute heels. Don't get me wrong, I'm not dressed to the 9's every time I leave my house... I wear sneakers/workout clothes on my runs in the morning I'm not THAT crazy. I guess it all just depends on what you feel most comfy in out in public, and to me it's a cute wedge or stiletto |

And I'm with witchy. I will definitely go walking the dog of an evening in Victoria's Secret PJ pants and a tank top. The only person I care about at that time is the dog, and he doesn't give a crap what I look like as long as we stop at all the important places.
And I will wear the man's pants. Definitely. Last time I went shopping, I went straight for the guy's section of Old Navy. Guy's clothes are more practical, look better, feel better, hold up better, and are cheaper.
And I bet none of you would know I was wearing guy's clothes if you saw me in them.
It pissed the S/O off something fierce, too, 'cause we kept going after the same stuff, and it all happened to be the LAST of whatever was there.. and it was too small for him to wear, but just right for me! MINE. Get off.

My Mood: | | | Re: Are you a shlumpadinka? I came home from work threw on some shorts and a tshirt, let my hair go wild and then I went out and ran a couple errands. I couldn't stand being dressed up for another minute. When I get home, I can't wait to change into comfy clothes.

I NEED to have my makeup done (or at least some on everyday...mascara, concealer, Spackle, whatever)...and usually my hair is done or at least pulled back nicely.
I used to wear sweatpants but now I've switched to yoga-style pants (even though I don't do yoga) and a nice t-shirt. Gone are the days of wearing paint-stained sweats or shirts, sweatshirts, etc. I've tried to be more conscientious about my clothing choices while out since I've become a mom.
If not yoga pants for errands, I throw on jeans and try to look more presentable. I can't spend my days in nicer clothes because when you are chasing after a toddler or cleaning up around the house, it just doesn't make any sense.
Now, if I'm going out with the ladies or for a nice dinner, I will still try to dress to impress...

Who do you dress for? Ladies, do you dress to impress men or do you dress to impress your friends/peers/that bitch in the office next to yours.

My Mood: | | | Re: Are you a shlumpadinka? Honestly? I wish I could say it was for me...but it's a 50/50. Maybe it's the Public Relations/Marketing person in me, but I like to do it to make myself feel and look good, but I always like to present myself that way to other people. I don't mind if people take notice and I like putting a good attempt/best foot forward, especially with first impressions.
