Re: What should and should not be leashed?

Another child in-line method that I thought sounded mean, must be because I absolutely can not stand it myself. Is this:

Pinching the inner thigh

I heard a family of five I know does that when out in public. I don't think it will be a method I would use.

I also hate people pulling my hair so Chase stop doing that to my lil' pumpkins.

Re: What should and should not be leashed?

My wife and I have different views on how to deal with our daughter...

Growing up, my dad used to beat the ever living sh*t out of us when we were bad.. My wife was never hit.. Not to say I would EVER beat my child, because it doesn't get you anywhere, but I do firmly believe in spanking.. My wife and I don't see eye to eye on this matter...

I don't have kids, and therefore have no opinion.

As for leashes....I chewed through mine years ago.

I don't normally believe in spanking either Scraps, but I think it depends on the child. There are times that I have had to spank Drake because he didn't listen to me say in the grocery store parking lot and could have gotten hit by a car. If it's something that is going to endanger the welfare of your child, that's where I draw the line. As Witchy would say....your mileage may vary...

now that I think about it....Witchy should write a book with her sayings

Oh my god.. My daughter LOVES to throw fits in parking lots.. Drives my wife nuts!! Every single parking block or curb she sees, she wants to jump off of them...

Re: What should and should not be leashed?

I don't know what it is with kids and getting in and out of cars. It takes them FOREVER. My son gets in the car and he needs his stuffed bear, his stuffed dog, he still needs me to click him in and as soon as we get moving, he goes "mommy, I wanna hear Joanna!" He knows how to unclick, but I can be out of the car and halfway to the apartment and he is still sitting in the car like "oh am I supposed to get out now?" and when he finally DOES get out he runs around like a maniac playing with the sticks on the ground like he's never seen a stick in his life. I don't get it, I just don't get it. I want to get out of the apartment, get in the car and go. When I get home, I want to get out of the car, walk down the steps and go in my apartment....is that too much to ask? Kids....gotta love 'em

Re: What should and should not be leashed?

My kids run to be the first in the car! The first one in and buckled gets the first ipod pick. It's all they can think about when we're out doing errands. I'm seriously thinking that they will both find furture employments in the music industry.

Re: What should and should not be leashed?

I never have any problem getting Aidyn in the car either. He does everything except buckle himself, and that's 'cause he can't reach.
