Thoughts, Prayers, Hope & Well Wishes

Hi all,

I don't normally do this and if you want to move this thread please feel free.

I am extremely worried and paranoid today. My daughter, Delaney, is going to the dentist. She has really bad acid reflux and it has caused a lot of problems with her teeth. She is 4 and won't be 5 until May 22nd. She needs 4 "baby" root canals and those teeth with have crowns. They are going to use laughing gas on her and I am hoping and praying it works and that by the time today is done she won't be terrified of the dentist. Today is the first of 5 appointments, they thought it was best to break them down instead of doing them all at once and I completely agree. Her first appointment is today at 10am.

I have been sick to my stomach all day yesterday and all night last night, I hardly slept because this is stressing me out so bad.

So any thoughts, hope, prayers ... well wishes.. whatever you do... please do.

God bless and good luck. I'm sure everything will be fine. Is this procedure being done to avoid the same problem with the permanent teeth?

No worries Dreamear... Gas is just twighlight sorta, not full on unconcious.. from that standpoint she will be fine...

hating the dentist? lol.. i have yet to meet any human who likes the dentist

Chase's oldest (my niece) is 3 and she has a lot of experience with the dentist. It is my understanding she does very well! Hope you also have an experience that is as good as can be!

God bless the baby girl. It's always awful when things happen to the little people. My grand had a tooth trauma, it was awful. They are tough, tougher than we are and tougher than we even imagine. Prayers for the little one.
PS the gas is wonderful- would pipe it into my house if I could.
