she gets it from seeing the older one do it... | The first time my daughter did it, it scared her when it hit the water - So I think that might have something to do with it.. Bribing her is doing absolutely nothing.. We've tried money, dolls, chocolate, ice cream etc... She's just scared I think.. Christ it was hard enough to take her off the binky.. I can't imagine how long it'll take to get her to go on the potty..

I swore I wouldn't let my first get hooked on that damned binky. But when a 1-2 year old is crying and only wants the darn thing...it quickly becomes, "HERE! Whatever you want! It's 3 am...go back to sleep!"
Can't remember when we finally pulled it, but she must've been close to 3, I think. Whatever age she was old enough to understand "It's bed time!"

"Figured out how to keep the boys away when she's a teenager. I'm just not gonna potty train her.
'Cuz that was always my rule in high school. If a chick took a dump in my car, I drove her right home.

She'll be three in August and we JUST broke her from it. We were in Allentown a couple of weeks ago and when we got home, we played as though we left the binky at the hotel.. She was okay until we laid her down for a nap... My god it was hard to not just go and get it and say, "Here, here.. It's okay.. "... But then we'd be back to square one again... |

No, I do not want another one.

No, I do not want another one. | See.. The whole other issue is being sick.. She always has a cold, because of daycare. If one kid has something, they all get it... We call it the "kennel cough of daycare".. |

My ex was able to stay home with my first throughout.
My wife makes too much for that to make sense. And honestly, we're going to need both incomes.
