Let me start by giving you just a little background about myself that I'm pretty sure none of you know. I was raised by a single mom with two sisters. So....I was raised in a family of four women. I really don't have much experience with little boys. Raising my son has been an experience to say the least. I won't even go into potty training. Anyway....my son (Drake) is now going through a phase where he loves babies. He picks up pine cones and says that they are his babies and will literally carry the same pine cone around for weeks and take care of it. Today, my son found a new baby and proudly brought it into my apartment to show me. I just thought everyone would like to meet my new granddaughter or grandson....
In case you can't tell....that is my dirty son (from playing outside) and his baby slug. Aren't they adorable????? I'm so proud!

That's the cutest grandslug I've ever seen.
I mean, I know, everybody says that babies are cute even if they aren't just to be polite, but seriously.. that is one cute slug.

Very cute, both the slug and Drake. Personally I think Drake is a bit cuter, but I'm sure that friends of the slug would say the opposite. So, what gifts are appropriate for the arrival of a grandslug?

Well congratulations on the new addition!! lol My ex used to freak when my son did similar stuff. But I always just told my son that he was going to be a fantastic dad someday because he was so caring and thoughtful. Drake looks like he's a sweetie like my Tom. I have 2 girls and I love them both dearly, but it's such a unique experience with my son. Good luck with the new grandslug, may he live long and slime often!!
