Laughter through the tears

Some of you may have seen me mention once or twice that my husband is deployed. He left November 27, 2007 and he's actually due back in the middle of November this year. This was welcomed news as he was originally supposed to be gone until Christmas-time of this year. It's been a rough year (as my BFF Heddy knows!) but it has gone by surprisingly fast. Now I'm starting the 4 week countdown until he comes back to me. (We don't have a specific date, but we "know" it should be around the middle of November) I was depressed for a while, but my "mood" took a turn for the better when he came home on leave in August. Since then, I've been pretty upbeat. So I was strolling around the internets one day when I came upon this:

And I just couldn't help but chuckle. I can't wait for him to come home, but I can appreciate this little gem so much more having been through the storm.

What a great shirt! They should hand those to spouses automatically upon deployment. Good Luck w/everything and congrats on his coming home.

Thatis a funny shirtpoling fun at a not so funny situation. Too often we forget the many folks thay are hurt when a loved one is shipped off. Best of uck and if we don't hear from you for a while after mid November we wil all understa.

Hand out those shirts with coupons to "The Birds and the Bees" store! I know I'd be their best customer if my husband was gone that long.
