My Mood: | | | Re: How did you meet your significant other Our sisters were neighbors. His sister thought he was too shy, my sister thought I was too wild, they thought we might rub off on each other a bit. We did and have been together 32 years. We are now old and happy. He's a little less shy and I am a little less wild. We raised two wonderful kids and have 2 wonderful grands. Life is good. Praise God for it. |

My Mood: | | | Re: How did you meet your significant other I met my wife at my fraternity house. I had just gotten back from being in Florida, found out that we were having a party at the house and I headed over. Entered through the basement door, walked across the floor and our eyes met. We talked and drank all night.. The rest is history..

My Mood: | | | Re: How did you meet your significant other Was divorced two kids from previous marriage and don't do the bar scene so didn't know where to go to look for a mate. So did the online match dating thing. My hubby doesn't do the bar thing. One of his co-workers told him at work one day to quit working so hard and go find a good woman, he went home and put a ad in to the same match place as mine. My hubby answered my ad. When we met, we realized we went to high school together and liked each other but never said anything to each other. Him being a football player and me being a loner. We got married 6 months later. We've been married 6 1/2 years and he is the best.
Now this part will tie in with the psychic question in another forum here. Back in the 70's when my ex was getting really abusive, I started having these dreams of a man tapping me on my left shoulder (couldn't see his face) and saying "I am your past but someday I am gonna be your future." These dreams I had every week a few times a week. They bugged me to no end, wonder who this person was or if I was just odd. LOL. I had these dreams all the way up into the 1990's. Sept.1999 I met my new hubby, still had the dreams. Jan. 2000 married my new hubby still had the dreams. A few months into the marriage, I had the dream and this time he showed his face, this time, he said. "Now I am here" It was my hubby's face. Never had the dreams again. So now our song is "I dreamed you into my life, by Savage Garden.

My Mood: | | | Re: How did you meet your significant other I met my husband when a mutual "friend" (I actually can't stand the guy that introduced us!) brought him to church one Sunday. I took one look at him and was absolutely smitten! I couldn't tell you what in the world my Pastor said that day but I remembered everything about my Hubby. After many "chance" meetings at different friends' houses we started dating and eventually got married last September 2, 2006. |

| No way. She was coming out of an abusive relationship (ex husband) and hated men and I was on the rebound from a girl (fiance) who was cheating on me so my attitude wasn't very good either. Talked on the phone off and on for a year then had our first date. Funny thing about it, when I was with the cheating girl, I thought I knew what love was. Now I know I wasn't even close. I'm blessed with an angel. That's enough, I'm getting a little corny.
