I met my husband, in a bar, the night I moved into a new apartment after having left my then husband the month before. It was race weekend in Dover.
We were in the bar of what was then the Holiday Inn in Dover with a big group who had migrated from a different downtown bar. Richard Paetty was drunker than a hoot owl and was hilarious. Anyway, one of the guys in the group took it upon himself to decide I was with him (I wasn't) and my (now) husband saw I was rather uncomfortable and so asked me to dance (he doesn't dance). We weren't on the dance floor 2 minutes when the band decided it was break time.......the guy I was escaping from had gone to the men's room and so I said goodnight to everyone and left....with my knight in shining armor escoring me to my car. We decided to go to the local all night dinner for their Saturday night breakfast buffet...........but didn't realize it was only 8:30 until we tried to order........
Anyway, the rest is history! A history that will be 19 years long come this June raceweekend.

i met my wife on the track in HS. We were friends for about 8yrs then while she was in college something happened after an evening of drinkin...2 kids and a wedding later here we are.

My boyfriend used to be a manager here and we were always friends. I always thought he was hot, but I was never single and was even dumb enough to get married at one point (haha-married and divorced all in 2005) Once that ring came off my finger, I approached him to make sure he knew. :-) We've been together for the past nine months and I couldn't be happier. This is the best relationship I've ever had............ <3 |

I ment my soon to be husband next door my moms house, now I live next door to my mom. He moved in like 2 years ago, he had a g/f and kids and then she left him, didn't really know either one of them then, since I was with someone as well. And then we ment one day outside and have been together ever since then.
