What made your parents decide what to name you?
In my case, my name was going to Lillian G after my Mom's Mother whose name was Lillian Gertrude. While my mother was pregnant with me her oldest sister whose name name was also Lillian kept teasing my Mom that she was naming me after her. My Mom did not get along very well with this sister so she changed her mind to Naomi. Unfortunately my Moms Mother dies the night I was born, so she always regretted changing it.
So what is your story ? |

My name was going to be Sean Patrick, but my mom and dad decided on Michael..
I'm named after my one great uncle, who is a major role model for me.. Couldn't have had a better person to be named after.. He's still alive, but living with both Parkinsons and Alzheimers... Besides my grandfather, one of the greatest guys you could ever meet..

I was named out of spite.
My mom liked the name Brent (I don't know why) when she told my dad he replied "No son of mine will ever be named Brent"
they decided on the names Keith and Megan. They broke up during her pregnancy and a few months later when I was born, they asked my mother what my name was and she said "Brent"
Just to piss of my dad. the rest is history
the "Metal" was added later, after years of rockin' sh*t hardcore

My name is the name of every first born in my family just in the female version.
My grandfather is Angelo Mario
My uncle (father's brother) is Angelo Mario
My cousin (uncle's first born son) is Angelo Michael
My name since I am my father's first born is Angela Marie
Also my grandfather and my father and his sibilings all have the initals AMLB as did my oldest cousin and myself.
