Yeah, I thought so. I won't do it. Joke withdrawn...

Re: Halloween Costumes

When we first moved here to DE, our first Halloween I was flat broke, had No money at all to get them anything and I had just started working at Beebe and hadn't gotten my first check yet. I didnt know anyone to take them and the babysitter wouldnt, so when I fianlly got off work we had like an hour left to trick-or treat. I wrapped them up in tin foil, and stuck pieces of lettuce, etc in the the tin foil stickin out. When people asked them what they were, they said "Left-overs. We didnt get to buy costumes and mom just now got off work." We trick or treated until about 9 oclock which is an hour later than we were supposed to (but we didnt start til 7:30!), but they got the most candy they ever had that year, lol. It was a combination of sympathy and being the last kids to visit most houses.

Re: Halloween Costumes

I still want to be Amy Winehouse. But, since we don't actually have an adult party to go to, I'm afraid that I would end up just creeping out all of the kids who come trick-or-treating.

I need someone to plan a party so I can start taking enough heroin that I only weigh 78 pounds by Halloween. Come on, people. Step up!

Re: Halloween Costumes

DS1 is dressing as Master Chief from Halo. We found the mask a the mall. DD wants to be a mummy. I don't think she knows that Mommy can't sew to save her life. DS2 wants to be a ghost. Wow, that's a stretch.

Should I dress the dogs this year? I have put a cape on Vinnie in the past but he get freaked out when the kids on roller blades go by.

Walmart has the whoopie cushion costume....

Re: Halloween Costumes

I was thinking of going as a fat Sarah Palin, but I was afraid people would think I was Jo from Supernanny.
