If you wanna talk about "Makes no sense" let's talk about why Delaware has this huge Dallas fan base.

FH was telling me the other day that Delaware retailers sell more Dallas Cowboys stuff than Texas retailers. Now, I'm not sure where he heard that or how accurate it is, but with the number of Dallas fans around here, I wouldn't find it hard to believe.

Love Camden Yards. I think one of the best Ball fields period. (maybe Wrigley) Don't really care for the Ravens, and my boss says that he would route for them if they didn't have that criminal on there team.

If I owned a sports bar up here, I would have a big screen in the middle of the bar, and on football Sunday, it would show an endless loop of Romo fumbling the field goal snap over and over and over and over again.

Parcells was on RealSports on HBO the other night. He came right out and said the reason he quit the Cowboys was because of that.

"You work all season to get down to a field goal to win a playoff game...go on to the Super Bowl...and your quarterback can't hold a simple snap. That was it for me."

My ex-husband was a huge Giants and Bills fan. I became a fan by proxy... we actually went to a LOT of NY games (from 1986 to 1995), my first was when we were dating back in 1986. I think when you attend so many, you become a fan after a while... the nature is infectious (especially if it's a team you don't hate and really know nothing of).

Back then I only knew the Steelers... it was what I had grown up with so I was open to other teams. I still love the Steelers and I still like the Bills and the Giants.... although in all honesty I think free agency has put a huge damper on team spirit. I think people are more likely to like a player over a team and that makes it hard.

Anyway, I was and still am a huge fan of Bill Parcells, I like his style I was upset when he retired. Was happy he came out of retirement but not so happy he was with Dallas... but to hear he said that.... you just made my day!!! LOL
