I was considering it for the surf fishing too....I usually carry a propane stove and pot out with close to two gallons of water (all singles) and coffee bags...(think tea bags with coffee instead) but now that I see that they are so expensive, not as much coffee as you would think in it, and its only barely tolerable to drink... I'll lug out my burner, propane, water, and coffee pot..
