I just wanted to let all you fans that today was my mom's b-day. We were supposed to have a big dinner and cake at her house w/the whole family (takes a lot of planning to get everyone together might I add) I had the cake ordered, my sisters and my brother planned this big gift for her...........and then she won tickets at work to the play off game tonight!! All of her kids and grandkids were jilted for a play off game!!! lol She had a lot of fun though and was joking that my dad had ordered the pre and post game fireworks just for her birthday. Anyway, I just wanted to share my story of abandonment with you all! lol I'm glad they won. We had to postpone the dinner until November because that's as soon as were all available to get together again.

That was amazing!
Myers was hysterical with those hits! He apparently sprained his ankle running to third. Hope it's not too bad.

Victorino's Grandmother died today (as posted above) but he didn't find out until after the game. What a crazy, emotion filled day for these guys.

I'm pumped for LA.

I'll tell ya what... Howard needs to take up golf, rather than baseball..

Doesn't he know by now that these pitchers are throwing all change ups?? He's swinging at the worst pitches....

I was getting tired of Chase keeping innings going by drawing walks, and Ryan striking out every time to end them right afterwards.

That last at bat....pitcher grooves one right down the middle, and he takes it for called strike one. Next pitch, in the dirt, swing strike 2. Next pitch called on the outside corner. WTF?

He should be out there at BP letting somebody throw him changeups all day today.

Or like in the movie Major League when Wesley Snipes kept hitting those pop ups, they made him do push ups..
For every ball Howards swings at in the dirt.. Make him do push ups..
