We got a big friggin' problem on our hands.

Day/Night double header on Sunday.

Cole's pitching today.

If all goes according to schedule, that gives us Blanton and Kendrick on Sunday.

Blanton and Kendrick.

Kendrick is benched. I heard we are using a 4 pitcher rotation for the rest of the regular season. Sunday's scheduled pitchers are Blanton and Myers.

Moyer, Myers, Blanton and Hamels.

We have Monday off. We should be good for the rest of the year with just those 4 pitchers. Those 7 games vs Atlanta should help as well.

We better pull these at least 2 wins against the Brewers then send them off to get crushed by Chicago who they'll play 6 times before the end of the season. That's our ticket into a wilcard slot.

That's exactly what it is. "Me first". No wonder he doesn't normally get much run support.

He did a great job yesterday, though. The whole team. I think at this point, everybody's playing to win, whether they like a certain person or not.

I hadn't heard that about Kendrick. But it makes sense. He's basically a Tee Ball stand out there, waiting to get lit up.

I'll take a split today for sure. 3 outta 4 from the Brew Crew. Definitely.

Blanton goes 7 giving up 3. Hell, if I could have signed for that this morning, I would have done it in a heartbeat.

Cannont BELIEVE that they let Shouse pitch to Burrell. I thought for sure they were going to bring in a rightie to face him.

Ryan's opposite field shot off of what must have been the tip of the bat was amazing.

That double play that Utley made, jumping over Kendall and still getting the second out at first....friggin' sweeeeet.

Shane's 3 run shot to ice it...outstanding.

I rode Blanton pretty hard this morning. But he gave us exactly what we needed in the first half of a double header. 7 innings and kept us in the game. We dipped into the pen only for Madson, Eyre and Lidge.

Way to go, Joe. Way to step up. I gladly eat my words.
