Re: Phillies

Philly 57 picked up the 2:15 game, so it's on cable channel 9.

Then ESPN at 8.

Come on Fightin's! Split today for us!

(Man...if Moyer can beat Pedro this afternoon....how tight is tonite's game gonna be...Phew!)

On Verizon it's CW channel 16 or 816 for the HD feed.
My fingers and toes are crossed for these two games. Everyone's talking football.... I'm like football who cares about football when the Phils and Mets are playing???

Re: Phillies

Phillies up 2-0 bottom of the 2nd. (yay Werth)

Husband informs me (via text) from the otherside of the house that the Eagles are up 21-0 at halftime.

Re: Phillies

Well, the way I figured it, nobody was going to sweep this series.

Starting at 3 games back, I figured best case for us was 2 games back after the weekend...worst case, 4 games back.

Even if we lose tonite...we're still 2-3 for the weekend and only 2 games back. Which was my best case prediction. I can live with that.

But man...if we can actually sweep this thing tonite?

Hamels vs. Santana for first place (tie) in the East?

Brother, if you follow baseball at ALL...and this doesn't fire you up...nothing will.

This is F***ING HORSE SHIT!

Sorry.

Just had to get that out there.

Just lamenting the fact that the umps forgot their glasses tonite.

My thoughts exactly.

Considering the Phils could tie the division lead with this game, the calls are not thought out enough for my liking.

That call at first?

Look at it from 2,3,4 angles and he's out.

Charlie picked a battle too early. If these type of calls keep coming, there will be a lot more instances to argue over.

Re: Phillies

Okay...so we're down 3-1, Charlie Manuel has been tossed for arguing a catcher interference call. Burrell's throw to third was on time but was called safe...

Things need to turn around quick for us.

Kid, I was hoping for a 2 out of 3 in this series too but I think we can pull it out a sweep. We seem to want it more than the Mets right now.

*fingers crossed*

Re: Phillies

We got 2, so we picked up a game...there's like 19 left to play, but I think head-to-head is over. So we got to get the bats warmed up and hope for some help elsewhere....gonna be a nail biter!

Re: Phillies

Burrell needs to wake up.

I want to go up to Citizens for another game soon. Anyone have any Phillies games planned?
