I've been watching the game tonight too. They have been playing the Mets well. I just worry that this is a repeat of last season when the Phillies came so close but just missed the playoffs.

Well, take a look at what they have done with pitching (Starting rotation, not bullpen), Kendrick, Durbin has stepped up. Myers has been solid for the most part. Hamels, is on fire.

And thier lineup, is the best in baseball. Hands Down. If they win tonight, kendrick can shut them down tomrw. And then they will only be 2 games behind. And the Mets havea series vs the Braves next. Could be exciting weekend.

Another GREAT game today. God, do you just love this team or what?

How about Burrel coming around, and Utley with the clutch hit. And we got the easy marlins next, then the braves. The schedule looks very good for the phils the rest of the way.

Yesterdays game was the best sort of drama in a game you could ask for. Driving home last night and listening to the game, you could see all the people in their cars that were listening to the game. When Utley came through with his hit everyone was visibily cheering and pumping thier fists in their car, including me.

I watched the replay of that game twice last night.

Twice. And I saw it live the first time at the pub.

What a game.

Werth said he stole both those bags in the 9th on his own.

I didn't want to say anything because I would love to see them in the play-offs. I am afraid I might jinx them.

I think the Phillies are starting there famous slid out of the playoffs
5 back of the Mets and 3 out of the wildcard.

Take the positive for the next (hopefully anyway) weeks you Philly fans can think the Eagles will win the Super Bowl lol
