Nasty loss.
The Phils now lead the league in errors.
An ugly game. Ugly loss.
Nobody really to blame. Even if Rollins had played, we still lose this game.
But....Kendrick gives up 7 runs....and only 1 of them EARNED?
Tells you how those errors come into play.
The whole team came apart without J-Roll.
Lackluster is the only word for it. | | The Following User Says Thank You to Kid Lester For This Useful Post:

Runners at 1st and 3rd, nobody out, and Chase Utley at the plate....
I would've bet 50 bucks we got at least 1 run out of that inning.
Can't believe Chase swung 3-2 at ball 4. I don't really blame Dobbs for running. He had to figure, like everybody else, that Utley was gonna walk or at least make contact. |

And the Fightin's managed to win one without Jimmy!
Win for Myers, save for Lidge...another big night for Pat.
Good show. | | The Following User Says Thank You to Kid Lester For This Useful Post:

We're not the Diamondbacks quite yet, but we're not the Tigers either. After 11 games, I'll take it.

Nothing like waiting till the bottom of the 9th to decide to play a little baseball.
Snelling was the key. That leadoff homer in the 9th really shook up the Astros closer.
And thank God Jenkins blew off 3rd base coach Steve Smith.
Hell, if players had blown him off more than they listened to him last year, the Phils would've probably won 6 or 7 more games than they did.
He's TERRIBLE. (Although he was probably correct this time...on paper)
If Jenkins had held, I can totally envision the Phils taking that game into extras and losing.
BTW...I think Jenkins was OUT. Then again, the Cubs homer was a foul ball in a 1 run game...so the baseball gods are now appeased. | | The Following User Says Thank You to Kid Lester For This Useful Post:
